Has anyone seen or heard anything from him lately, the last time I saw him was the 14th of this month he was heading out of Lagos Marina presumably heading for the Balearics,I sent him a PM when I returned from Vilamoura but not heard anything from him, are you OK if you read this Colin.

I was supposed to go with him. But the back let me down. I mean you cant hobble about a fifty odd foot fifty odd ton schooner rigged thingy. With two of you on board and say things like. Oh hang on a bit or you do the donkey work. I'll just sit here and rest. Can you, it's not on. So unfortunatly missed out on the fun.

Worry not, sorry I missed you in Lagos, but was up to my lilttle eyeballs in work getting the old girl ready, safe and sound in Ibiza now, but of course top pay for all this FUN I'm back on the rig again! I need a new anchor winch, I want one of those new fangled vertical ones, to take 24 volts and 1500 watt motor, 1/2" chain, I'm looking at the lewmar 3000 at the moment any ideas, I'm sure there must be an italian one around.

Hi Colin,
I have a 24V 1500W Lofrans on my boat, horizontal though.
All I can say is it never gave me any problem.
