I think that CAV are now Delphi.
Whatever you do do not get a clone. I did not know my boat had a clone & I spent years trying to stop leaks, then my cousin ( an old farm hand) pointed out that there were thousands of these in use without problems & suggested i check & he was right - a clone.
I bought a new one & never had a trouble since

My guilty secret is I only have a CAV water separator on Triola. My plan is to put a Racor filter after the water separator and that way you could see clearly if any crap was coming through in the fuel in the water separator before it gets to the filter (the bowl on the filter already being filtered). The Racor filter being around £85, pvbs option being around £20... is this the marine tax at work? Or are there real differences?
