Any ideas where I can get one of <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.boatersworld.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=718775&tmreturn=true&processRequest=10002&catalogId=10051&cm_ref=http://www.smartmarts.com/boat/index0013.html&langId=-1&sourceid=qIpSQaHMi2uZAm2gaWNp&prp=376130035&location=BEBW11&storeId=10051> THESE </A> or something similar from in the uk?
I need to re caulk my teak and need to get the old caulking out. Spent an hour this weekend digging the old caulking out and only managed to do an area of about 8 inches square. At that rate it's going to take days.
Any suggestions welcome.

Hi Kev, try looking here: yandina.com/DeckTool.htm

Failing that make Lee an offer to do it for you!

Cheers,
J.

just an idea but, in the screwfix catalogue page 519 ref. no. 16590-76 there is a tool called a 'mortar joint raker' could that not be used or adapted in any way? it's only £7. so probably worth a try

in the same catalogue, item ref. no. 11900-76 there is a 'wall chase' which attaches to an electric drill this is then used to chase out mortar joints between brickwork prior to re-pointing. that might be even easier / faster. again, just a thought.
