I have been offered a CAT C9 570 total zero hour rebuild and dyno test by Finning, INCLUDES ZF325 transmission, repainted and sitting on pallet.

Priced merely to recover rebuild costs so £12K.

Nothing in it for me but may help somebody out there in the poo, will pass on inquiries direct to seller.

Good god no! I'd like to have a crack at her, chop that wheelhouse off, make her into a giant Huntsman 28 and refit the Bannenberg interior.

what a shame, indeed she would look far better without the W/H, a Huntsman on steroids...

I saw someone attacking her teak decks and just about everything else a few months ago with a jet wash... such a crime, next day they came with a pot of paint and started painting bits... I kind of thought it might be a new owner....without a clue.

Sounds like a bargain!! .. now whilst I have the space, and weight is not an issue (still lighter than the DD's) .... the real killer is the cost of a second engine.... and the sense of having 1100 Hp in a 45 footer...

She's in long term ownership, chap on the IOW I understand although never met him.

I notice she's gone from Yarmouth, not sure where to.

Should PT sell I have a long list of Fairey boats in trouble...intend to do another rebuild, but better, maybe a Huntsman 31 if I can find one at the right £££.

BB I know of a chap local to me here in Wales who owns two Huntsman's but not certain if they are 31's? One I think is in storage at maybe I.O.W the other on hard standing West Wales, not sure of his views regarding selling but can pass on contact details if intersted?
Rob.

Spoken to him on the phone, can;t remember name or more importantly which boats right now, all these years of Huntsman ownership I should have kept records, I do know they are both 28's, I know where all the 31's are.

What is 'Point One'?.

one of only 4 42ft Fairey Swordsman ever built, a bit of a monster..
