Planning Carteret for weekend. Whats the berthing like??? Is there plenty of room??

It gets busy friday evening and weekend, fairly quiet during the week.
You may have to raft up if late .
If you are arriving early call ahead to say you are coming.
I have never been turned away.

Thanks Bandit. Hope to go there Thursday but Jersey met are giving out fog during the day for Guernsey, but clear for Brittany so might be forced to stay in bay of St Malo. Bloody fog... can you keep it with you in Guernsey

Nice place, though as said it gets very busy at weekends. There is a good market in Carteret on Friday mornings. The walk to Barneville is good, also up on the cliffs over the harbour approach. There are shops, though the grocer on Carteret High St has eyewatering prices.
