carrying a Rib on swim platform

Having sold our S23 we are pottering around local creeks on a 2.8m rib with a jockey console and 10hp outboard. Contemplating purchase of something like a Fairline Targa 29 and was wondering about those horseshoe type davits as a means of sliding the rib onto the swim platform and stowing it upright, as it wouldn't be practical to use the usual tipover snap davit mounting. Has anyone tried this? (I don't think the 29 will carry Simpson type davit arms but happy to be corrected!).

Are you talking about fitting your 2.8m RIB with Jockey on these davits?

yes; the jockey console doesn't protrude much above the tubes but of course the outboard does

Thanks, thats just the kind of rig I was looking for. Called Hurley davits apparently from US. Has anyone tried such a set up?
