2 years ago we had new carpets with binding edging , some of the edges have started curling up and it drives me mad , do you have any suggestions , but they all have to come up to access engines etc. Cheers SS.
If they're synthetic then you can turn them upside down and use gentle steam to relax them. If not synthetic then flip them over when you leave the boat - it won't sort it out completely, but it'll help.
I'm getting pee'd off with carpet backing dust in my engine bay as have to move it for access so looking at replacing with flotex, waterproof and easy to clean and the backing looks much more resilient than the foam backed crap we have now. (And UK made I believe)
I like fully synthetic on boats.
