Hi forumites, after a long re fit , both engines out , shields and drives replaced etc etc, Martini is back in the water now but the saloon and cabins carpeting have collateral damage with storage of various parts despite protection being put down. I might want to replace the carpets over the winter , I am at Chatham MDL, anyone know of good suppliers / fitters in the area? Been reading white lighters posts as well on the same subject but just thought there might be a good guy someone might be able to recommend ?
Thanks

Hi Keith, pleased to here Martini is getting her bum wet at last. Roland did mine last year took his time though, He is based in the dockyard with Brad From Marval marine. Another possibility is David Harrald who posts on the berth holders facebook. Good luck.

Did Roland do a good job, got him looking at mine at the moment.

The owner of a Princess 45 moored next to me,purchased his new carpet from a local chain carpet store, took it to the boat, cut it to size and then had the edges whipped by a local firm in Strood, for a very nominal sum indeed.

Ok it sounds from the general responses that an everyday carpet company is the way to go, thanks all!
