Cargo net bungee pattern

Hi - I have in mind to make some cargo nets using bungee cord, to extend stowage in various cabins.

Any tips welcome on what knot to use at each criss-cross. My current thinking is a quick half-hitch. Thanks

I have hog rings and hog ring pliers so I might use them if appearance didn't matter.

How about a standard netting knot, which is derived from the sheet bend?
