Car ends up in Port Solent Marina

I think my favourite along these lines is still the motorcyclist who went off the quay in Saint Martin en Ré

Oh wow, poor chap caught his left pannier bag on a post which knocked him off.

Looks really nasty, hoping he wasn't hurt?

Pushing his luck perhaps by riding on that side of the bollards.

Definitely an element of navigating between the devil and the deep blue sea here. The trouble is, one's instinct is to stay away from the edge thereby increasing the risk of such an accident.

Reminds of a skiing phenomenon whereby kids are unlikely to hit rocks trees etc. while showing these hazards the the scantest of cautions. Adults, being more aware of the risks invariably consider their tracks and speed more carefully.....

....yet for some reason they find themselves magnetized towards exactly the objects they wish to avoid!!

Sounds just like my crew, point out a buoy ahead and say "just don't hit it" and he is then drawn irresistibly towards it. He claims Trinity House magnetise the lot of them.

Doesn't look like a convertible or a 4-series to me, but still a fun story.

I've walked past that car many times when it was parked in that parking spot. It had 4 exhausts out the back and an M4 decal on the back.
I'm certainly no expert, but I was inclined to believe it was what it claimed.
