I want to cap off a sea toilet by replacing the 11/2" seacoack with a threaded cap. Can someone advise me where I can get such a cap from?

Why not just leave the ball valve on and either tie the handle down in the 'closed' position or better still - remove the handle completely. Preferably with a large label attached!

I assume you have either a ball valve or a gate valve on a skin fitting and that you want to remove the valve and fit the blanking cap to the skin fitting.
I think the problem will be finding a cap in a suitable material. The chances of finding a bronze one is pretty slim I would think. Brass would not IMHO be a sensible alternative as it would be liable to dezincification ... even if you could find a brass one.
Shutting the valve and removing the hanwheel or lever handle may well be the only solution.
You could always get one made of course!

ASAP supplies have THIS ONE in an unspecified material.
THIS ONE in Tonval
Bearing boys list THIS one in stainless but dont say what alloy (not likely to be 316)
Marinescene THIS ONE in a "Brass material".
If you use brass or Tonval put a full diameter gasket inside it to avoid contact with the seawater

All the stainless steel fittings I used below the water line at 316 and marked as such and are the same as used in the local chemical and mining industry.
I can get lots from many suppliers but I an quit a long way away for easy supply.

Cut Back The Hose and Blank Off The Hose End
Trice1 I have a seacock that was used for a generator cooling inlet and is now spare but isolated. The seacock has been left in place, closed. The hose has been cut right back to about 2" of free hose from the seacock. A wooden plug has been inserted into the hose and retained with 2 hose clips. The hose is attached to the seacock with 2 hose clips.
This way you still have double barriers. I have never taken the hose off but when I don I will be inclined to pack the void with a grease. It may be festering away at the moment with stagnant sea water for all I know.

Any pipe suppliers could sell you a plug to go in the top of the seacock. Or a threaded cap end to go on the end of the skin fitting. If you dont intend recommisioning the bog you could completely remove the skin fitting then glass over the hole (presuming your boat is grp ) Try googlimg ASAP or BSS.
