capillary temp gauge

hi guys, need to find someone who repairs these at a resonable cost. the standard ones you can buy do not have a long enough tube. its for a perkins 1407 and it needs to be 9 foot long.

the pipes snapped. it is 50 yrs old so its done quite well really.

thanks for that, their website dosent seem to be working for non standard repair, but i will give them a ring on tues.

I have one in the garage I fixed many many moons ago and fitted to an Austin 7 .... Not a Mini! I am sure there must be companies doing this as it isnt a black art once you work out how not to blow up SWIMBO's kitchen. Just need to sleeve a joint at the break and refill.

There is a filling spur inside the gauge usually.
