capillary temp gauge

the pipes snapped. it is 50 yrs old so its done quite well really.

How good are you with a soldering iron.....Bear in mind the fluid in the capillary is ether :D:D:D

I have one in the garage I fixed many many moons ago and fitted to an Austin 7 .... Not a Mini! I am sure there must be companies doing this as it isnt a black art once you work out how not to blow up SWIMBO's kitchen. Just need to sleeve a joint at the break and refill.

There is a filling spur inside the gauge usually.
