We are renewing all the carpets as Bruck has spilt red wine every where . i have found a carpet binder close to where i live , is this all you have to do take patterns and choose colour , thanks SS
Why didn't you use a marine supplier? they have missed out on charging you at least another £100 for the same job. I think you were unreasonable in doing this, we need to support the industry otherwise other competition will appear and drive prices down.. oh wait, that's a good thing!Just done the same thing - used the old carpets as a template cut new to shape from a remnant left over from the very recent house refit (bought new carpet scissors from Amazon cost £35) took them to a domestic (not marine) set up who make rugs and they bound them - total cost under £100 for the whole boat - result.
YesAs you refuse to allow red wine inside your boat I can hardly see how you can blame me. However if you are after a carpet fitter I am happy to share with you the details of the chap who did mine and who did a good job at a great price. It will cost you a bottle or two though. BTW it was Chris who christened my carpets with red wine, you havent had him on your boat have you?
