Does anybody have any recommendations for a Boat cover maker near Shamrock Quay / Itchen Marine that could repair my boat cover.

I need to get a couple of quotes for the sailing chap that put his anchor through my cover in Cowes on Saturday.....

Hi

J B Yacht Services, Swanwick/Burlesdon Hamble area.

Not the cheapest, but the best. Will travel no problem.

Jim is the main man, the only man !

Superb covers. He's done all my previous 4 boats cockpit and flybridge covers - personally I'd never use anyone else !

Just a very satisfied customer. No connection apart from that.

Agreed, Jim is definately the man. We bought a Sealine 37 and were convinced the covers had shrunk. We called JB and Jim came out to show us how to put up the covers properly (studs first, zips last). He also replaced a zip and press stud and charged us nothing, just aksed us to consider him if we ever re-covered.

Have used him a couple of times since and good service both times.

There is canvaswork at Shamrock, the bluey building on the roundabout.

Went to them after JB told me they were very very busy and recommened Canvaswork..

I am currently having my canvas replaced by South Coast Canvas in Shamrock Quay, I orginally tried CJR who were nearly £1000 more!

MDL recommended South Coast and checked some of their work before placing an order, I'll let you know the result.

South Coast Canvas tel: 02380339370.
