Would anyone be able to offer any advice on the best (and most cost effective!) products for the following:

1. Cleaning griime and midlew from canvas canopy and subsequently reproofing. Also what is the best rpoduct for "waterproofing the stitching and zips. 2. Cleaning and polishing GRP top and hull sides above the waterline. Top side were deep cleaned in the latter half of last season. 3. Ditto cockpit seating; both vinyl and leather

1.First lightly brush off loose dirt and grime. Scrub lightly with mild detergent solution. If mildew remains, treat with a non-bleach mildew killer. Rinse and allow to dry. Spray with StarBright Waterproofing. Allow to dry and repeat. This also seals stitching. For zips there are "chapstick-like" products available from camping shops. 2. 3M Marine Fiberglass Cleaner and Wax.(single application in one product) 3.Starbright Vinyl Shampoo followed by Starbright Vinyl Protector. For difficult marks, use a very mild abbrasive paste with bleach(in the US we use Softscrub). For leather, use a product recommended for leather car seats. Good luck.

Use Commercial vehicle traffic film remover (neat). Wipe on, leave for 30 secs then wash off. It takes all the marks off. BEWARE THO 1. wear rubber gloves because it takes all the natural oils out of your hands. 2. Dont leave it on vinyl for too long as it will soften it.

GRP Use Faracla rubbing compound with a "G Mop"on an industrial polisher. Then use Holts colour restorer polish. G Mop from automotive paint supplier. very good results using this method.
