Can\'t find the right bolt.

I need to replace some S/S machine screws for my cleats. I have searched online for ages but can't find the correct ones. I need S/S M8 by at least 70mm. That in itself is no prob', but to top that they need to be countersunk with raised heads. I can find loads of countersunk, but raised heads seem to be a dying breed. Can anybody help me track down this alusive beasty.

Search for Coach bolts not screws as that is their name, best of luck.

I use GTC Direct for my stainless fixings, good prices and very helpful. However have just looked in their catalogue and they only go up to M6x50 in slot raised countersunk machine screws, but I would contact them anyway they maybe able to help you. Their number is 02380 600040, or gtc-direct.com

Thanks for that. Just off the phone to them. Unfortunately the longest one they can supply is a 60mm.

Just off the phone to anglia, but no luck. Have phoned GTC direct who are going to call me back in 10 min or so. I think they were over hunted in the early 70's and are now extinct.
GTC just phoned back as I was typing. Just to confirm what I'm looking for, but their on the hunt.

GTC phoned back and have the last breeding pair in captivity. Their going to post their offspring to me straight away. What a nice company. Thanks for all your help.

Why do you need raised head?
Seascrew do long csk.
If you absolutely must have a quaint style of head, then some of the companies that sell to the classic motorcycle trade will make them for you, but make sure you're not holding anything fragile when they tell you the price!
The names Middleton and thoroughbread stainless spring to mind, although its a long time ago!

the correct name is raised head machine screw, a coach bolt is an entirely different bolt altogether.
