Canopy windows

Re: Hey... Cute.....

Well I answer to a lot of names, most of them like "Oi" "Git", "Fat Ba****d" and "you f***r" are in reality pretty fair.

But I ain't never been called "cute" before.

Well not since I was about 10 months old, so that'd be about 23 years ago.

Re: Hey... Cute.....

....doesnt it give you a nice warm cuddly sort of feeling........?

(I was actually talking about the window covers but if this makes you feel good.............)

Dont worry Barry, colin and I understand each other. Anyway, he only talks to me cos he's hoping I'll introduce him to Forbsie or Sandra.
Now then, about my canopy windows....it occurs to me that if I cut them out altogether they wont go crackly or milky and there will be great air circulation in the cockpit so shouldnt get condensation problesm. Is there a downside?

Now there's a thought, could call it the "eau naturale" canopy system. Don't think it'll take of in Blighty though!

Well that sounds a stunningly simple and dare I say it, brilliant idea B1. Can't see any downside to this idea at all.

Yup, cut the windows out completely then you'll be able to see perfickly, with no smearing or anything. In fact think I might do it on the house. Think of the savings. No window cleaning bills, no chance of footballs breaking the glass etc.

Brilliant idea, B1.

Gonna do it now before the gales start just in case the forecast high winds damage them.

Cutecoliholic (perhaps change this to cuteiholic?)

I've been given two fuids by Porsche for my rear window. One was a pissy yellow fluid which seemed to make no difference at all, the other was a thicker cream almost pasty that you use sparingly and polish off after application, that works well and I've used it very sucessfully on the vinly windows of my boat.

I also know that owners of light aircraft with perspex windows use a product called Plexus which is supposed to be the D's Bs. You can get it from the Transair pilot shop www.transair.co.uk

yada yada..
