Any of you North Wales gang know where I can get a canopy stick made locally for my Hardy. Dead simple, upside down "U" shape in Ally or stainless. (Hardy's recommended supplier want £180 for a simple hoop of aluminium!!)

Try Chris Harris of Harrishoods.co.uk

Made a complete new canopy for Rafiki inc new fwd hoop. Works out of Kidderminster and makes the OE canopies for Trusty Boats.

There is an alloy workshop (they welded a new bit on a broken stanchion for me) at Port Penrhyn next to Dickies new place. Take him a drawing or the old one & he will make a new one or repair the old. You may need to buy your own fittings for it, but they are bog simple to fit & standard, so easy to get hold of.

Thanks everyone for the advice/help. I have some experience of boatsheds, not the best but only a one off so cant really comment but will try the guy in Port Penrhyn. I have the old one, a bit bent and broken but can get the dimensions easy enough. I always prefer to go somehwhere non-boaty for this type of stuff. (Its only plumbing after all!)

I will swing by PD as well Philiz.

May I take this opportunity to wish all North Walesers a happy and safe boating Summer!

Once again thanks
