can anyone tell me the telephone no of the man with a van that will mend canopies on site,it's a little stitching i need,we are south coast based,regards mm1

Sorry, cannot make a suggestion, but it is not too hard to do yourself. I regularly put a stitch in the zipper seams as the thread decays with age. Decent needle and thread will keep you going. If it is a serious repair, then you may be better off taking the canopy to a repairer, as the machines are quite substantial. I had new plastic screens fitted at the start of the season. 2 large screens heat welded and stitched = £100. This was in the Midlands, but there are plenty of sailmakers etc who will repair on the south coast.
