Could it be Brookes Tarpaulins that you are looking for? They do all sorts of boat covers and the like and they are based at Penmaenmawr tel no is 01492622685
Have seen a few covers on boats around Porthmadog done by them.

Thanks for the info but it was not them but I will give them a call. I was looking for a company called something like Puffin Covers. I will keep on trying.

Puffin Covers were based in Port Dinorwic but appear to have closed down ? There is a man who ran a mobile boat cover business from the same village I live in ( Glan Conwy ) I will try and find his details tonight and let you know ?
You could also ring Dave Brookes @ Brookes ,Tarpaulins tel # above as he also lives in GC and probably knows this chap ?
You could also try TLC Boat Repairs on # 01492 580820 as they may also know him or someone suitable locally ?

Try the boatshed in y felinheli, just off the main road thru felinheli, just up from the garage which is across from the pub and chinese..sorry but i dont have the phone number to hand..

I have found the man who used to run Puffin Covers and as he is only doing the work on a limited basis I will send you a PM with his name and mob. #
I also found the card for the man in Glan Conwy " Canvas Man " name of David mob # 07702 280504 , though again not sure if he is still in business ?
