Robbie Storrar (Storrar Marine) on the Coast Road in Newcastle or Steve Goacher at Bowness by Windermere have both done excellent work on my "super" yacht Border Terrier. Both are within spittong distance of your neck of the woods.

I sailed Rowana down from Peterhead to the Tyne a few years ago, and he made a new Sprayhood, Dodgers and Sailcover while I waited in St Peters marina. All made to measure. He has, or at least had at the time I was there, an arrangement with St Peters such that I think I only paid about £30 or something like that for the week I was there.

Northern Covers put the best fitting sprayhood I've seen on my Hurley in Hartlepool. It was utterly brilliant. According to the marina website their number is 07766507944.

I saw them at work on a nearby boat. It was a 1st class job, as confirmed by the owner. They even gave me a bit of canvas tape I needed to repair my own spray hood, free gratis.
