I'm off tonight to SOFrance to see SWMBO.

I will take oppportunity to spend 2 days at Cannes show.

As noone here seems to be going does anyone have any (reasonable) requests for goodies/piccies/ etc.? Pleased to oblige

please note changes and extra details:

: don't insult the MAN stand. Instead, ask where to buy gold-plated rocker covers for LE406, the v12 diesels. They wil say no no it's just for the shows cos we do gold service see geddit? But they may say they're 50 quid each in which case i need 24. They probly won't say tyey are 50 quid each, but being a bit german they will then have several requests for gold-plated rocker covers and some mad teutonic software will create a backorder based on demand with several people asking in the same fortnight, so they'll be cheap eventually.

: then insult the sunseeker stand: Under no circumstances take your sunglasses off. Ask max speed of new s48 with nutter loony engine options and whatever they say, you say hmm, what about a really fast boat? They will splutter that 60 knots or whatever is fast, but you should ask if they offer a gas turbine option like the italians? tee hee.

:ccscott wants a top quality 24v charger 60 to 80 amps of tip top quality but dead dirt cheap which you'r just bound to find in Cannes.

:then buy a nice mental Magnum 50 and blow sunseekers into the seaweed. Yeehah!

Shame, I was rather looking forward to walking up to that lot and :-

Well it's got to be done. Rather looking forward to the teutonic experience. A fiver says they walk away from me when I get cheque book out !

Will try and assist with CCScott experience, but usualdo they understand about the bits beneath the hatches in that part of the World? May have to nick one from somewhere cos he probably won'y pay. Not sure if Scots communicating nicely with KIwis about rugby is acceptable. 'specially as half Jock team are Kiwi cast-offs.
