I'd recommend the garmin wind unit because it is automatically a barograph not merely a barometer. A barograph is 10x more useful than a barometer IMHO if you're serious about weather (as distinct from buying a barometer as an ornament) And of course you get wind data into the package. Ray marine and furuno equivalents are probably the same
