Boat is out at the crack of dawn in morning and am expecting a rush of eager volunteers to get soaking wet jetwashing muck off boat and then to get smothered with a deadly toxic coat of cheap antifoul, the reward being a bad back and assorted aches and pains.
Bet you wish you wern't so busy tomorrow ? :)
 
I feel for you. Unable to offer help due to:

Nursing our aching backs and muscles tomorrow after washing,polishing and waxing today before the antifoul goes on. We cheated and paid someone else to antifoul..;)
I am sure there will be many able people on here rushing to help you in your time of need.... :D

All over now...well nearly.

Boat now has a hull with only one colour of A/F hue, two colours last year due to cock up in "how full" tin dept.
Can report absolutely no difference in barnycule contamination between expensive blue stuff and generic cheapo red.
Propeller is off,heavy duty puller + gentle heat with gas bottle = loud " BANG" and now round at local prop shop to get pitch altered.
Fascinating place,some propeller blades in their workshop bigger than me.
Boat handles like a pig in reverse with single engine no flow over rudders and nice amount of prop walk.
However safely back on berth and awaiting phone call to arrange collection.

Ps.For any members of RCC safety team putlock and safety gates were in position during OGs labour of love.

Which funny thing is that than ?

Ps left single dangly fender dangling as per Thames byelaws and TMBA rules.
Off back round to remove A/F of all surfaces that is are supposed to be coated with the stuff.

So how long were you sitting there waiting waiting for the tide to float her off and what time did you get back to the berth?

That platform looks the business - whats the tidal range and how much working time do you get in between? Bit puzzled by the single lonely support at port quarter - was it really necessary?

Bit puzzled by the single lonely support at port quarter...........the boat leans against the piles,selection of heavy weights available to achieve this.
Putlock inserted for H & S purposes.



Time on blocks depends springs or neaps, but around 7 hours is probably the norm.
Finally floated off around 8pm,had to retire to clubhouse for double ham egg and chips with a beverage to wash it down while waiting..
Berth is only about 20 mins downriver,back indoors by 9pm

Yippee................

Propeller back from workshop and just off to put boat back on slip ready to refit in morning.
 
15 kilos of phosper bronze back on its shaft.
Some doubts expressed about how much props can be repitched,the man did 3" and said could get more if wanted.
