A favour to ask, it only takes a minute....

Please ask ten friends to tell ten more today! The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on 'donating a mammogram' for free (pink window in the middle).

This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising.

Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know.

AGAIN , PLEASE TELL 10 FRIENDS TO TELL 10

I really do wonder why I bother sometimes , I finally got back home at 01-00 after a hectic day and called in at the east coast forum where I think we have some scrumpy on the way , checked the hankie lot to find that a sailor is still missing ( check link ) , then venture in here to find that someone asking people for help is chewing the balls off the first person to reply and with a very helpful comment . I did have an idea how you could achieve your target quite easily but as he seemed to be trying to help and you bit his head off I really can't be arsed telling you how to do it now

why are people helping a US based organisation, when the US govt should be providing this aid anyway. If it was a third world country I'd have a lot more time for it, but it shouldn't be happening in the US.

now clicked and read , seems they support more than one charity but why do they bother with a pop up that gets blocked and how does it work , surely they aren't aiming at earning money just by clicking on a link , although I don't have any objections for charities I do object to someone earning money for their own pockets by conning people into clicking it

they get enough click throughs, they get get good mone.

I have no objection to the site as I've done no research. Earning money from click throughs is no bad thing if the money is going to right places.

I have no objection to the site but I do object to sites where a click puts money into somebodys pocket , so in charity cases like this one seems to be I clicked on everything just to help , but it isn't easy to find out where the money goes sometimes
Off to bed now but hopefully possitivelynissed will ease up a bit on those trying to help

Too much Scrumpy? Why be so aggressive? Don't blame me for your bad day.
I was trying to help a friend who has a close association with this cause, I did not feel I needed the approbation of anyone. Let your conscience be your guide.

I'd be a lot more supportive if you were supporting a UK or third world charity. Raising money for the US when they can afford to do this themselves doesn't garner much sympathy from me however.

Akshully , mine is totally clear , if you read your reply to our bayliner poster you'd see that he was trying to show others that it wasn't a con , and you chewed him up for saying it . Much as I hate to agree with Brendan though , don't we have enough charities in need of real support over here . Personally I support the Born Free Foundation as my main overseas charity , but in this country I actively support others , so why should we help out in a country that can afford to help its own but elects not to ?
