Can you help me choose? Sell Bizzy Bee and get 7 metre RIB or keep the Sealine S28

There's no point asking on a knitting forum if you should give up your best knitting machine.
Surely the correct solution is a bigger boat that can take a mini RIB on the bathing platform?

Now I know where there might be a Turbo 36 coming up for sale with just the thing you need on the back !

Gary.
I sort of see the point of ribs, but to me they are just like owning a motor bike...
You are only going to use it when conditions are right. Its no fun getting soaked and pounded.
Or fast transport A to B
My next door neighbour has a rib but he is from Alderney, so uses it to pop up there couple of times a month..
An apprentice with a local firm used to have one to commute from Sark..
The Island manager in Herm has a Sea Legs again just to commute between the Islands.

Your Sealine is a proper boat.. Don t sell it..

Perhaps another option Gary is to look for others to share the cost of the rib, a bit like JFM and friends in Antibes. That way you will significantly reduce your acquisition and maintenance costs. There might be a bit of a squabble on weekends like we have just enjoyed, but it might be worth it?

A 1/4 of the Antibes rib is always for sale. We're happy to own it in quarters not thirds. 2011 Capelli 8.5m and monster Yamaha 300hp, with a loo!

Do another course on Roy's RIB ....Maybe some extreme F8 overfalls off Portland will fill your fix of ribs for while ?

One is a fast day boat that'll get you and any hangers-on (well, literally) anywhere you want, in no time flat: the other isn't! And on The Day, don't (as I did) believe that you'll get hotel rooms anywhere nearby your destination.
Now, I suspect, you have an answer?

Had a chat with Deb and seen the light.. keeping the Sealine and will borrow, beg, hire a Rib for when we want to go out for a blast or practice berthing so Debbie keeps her hand in on that aspect leading in to doing it for real in the S28. Roy & Trev thanks for the kind offers that we'll no doubt take you up on

A Seadoo speedster ( that fits in the garage) - may stratch that itch ecomonically ?
It's a big boys toy - well engineered and you can " man play / fiddle " with it at home - factor a suitable boys toy house in the house extension plan '
When you sell the house a plus piont -boys toy storage -and when you are fed up prob not loose much £ ,s overall .
+ keep the Sealine for proper boating

Gary please note my little 'Kita' is not quite Roy's but just let me know when you want to use it. Not this weekend mind - will be needed in Bembridge.
