Hi, please could you help me to identify my boat, I stepped in to save it from neglect and would like to get it back in the water but need a bit of information about what it is if anyone can help.

I don't think it's one of the "big" brands like Shetland, Dejon, etc. Thing is, there were loads of tiny manufacturers back in the 70s/80s making boats like this, and also plenty of lenders of moulds for people to make stuff diy
Is that your front garden? Sheesh!

IMHO its too big for a Dejon, plus the cabin is wrong for a dejon, I think its a Mayland, but I don't know which model.
This is a Dejon

While searching the web I came across this boat up for sale, looking at the mouldings closly I think is identical to my boat.

Perhaps it may be easier to identify using a tidier boat.

It was up for sale listed as a Shetland with no model name listed, but as we have already discussed I am certain that it cannot be a Shetland

Thanks for the help

FWIW, albeit donkeys years ago, I recall seeing something very similar for sale in Bournemouth at a small boat retailers near the cliff top at Southbourne.
From memory I think it was called a Marina -(and no I am not taking the %$£&, that really was the name of the range) but I cannot find any reference to them anywhere now.
