Can you get replacement hull windows for a Beneteau Oceanis 331 from anyone except Beneteau dealers?

Except that the original one fell out. Good to understand why and remedy.

Yes, but the OP needs the alloy frame and seal to fit which didn't seem too bad to me given that it should fit without hassle.

I would still want to understand why it fell out and how to stop the next one (and any others) following it. Useful information for anyone with similar windows.

There is no alloy frame and no seal, it's stuck in, see posts #15 and #17

As to why it fell out, who knows. Looking at the picture in post #1 it looks like it just came unstuck, perhaps it was replaced in the past and not fitted correctly/wrong adhesive etc.

Thanks for all the responses.

I do like the suggestion from @TSB240 , but as @Tintin and others have pointed out, there is some peace of mind to be had from using the Beneteau part designed for the job (notwithstanding the big question mark on why if failed in the first place).

@chris-s - thanks for the suggestions on applying pressure. I will have to see what I can get away with rigging at the pontoon.

The only peace of mind you will get is knowing that the bond has been done correctly.
Buying a piece of plastic from Bendytoy is no guarantee of that.

Applying pressure is only part of the solution. It is incredibly important especially in a stressed part of a hull that this bond is made to the standards set by the supplier. Getting the thickness and width of sealing bead is critical.
I have replaced the windows on my unstressed oceanis 40 cc hard top
I used window glazing spacers to guarantee thickness and probably over did the width of bond given the mess that oozed out.

I am not sure I would sleep easy going to windward in a heavy sea relying on my first DIY job on a hull port.

If I was in your position I would have a Bendytoy agent replace it.
