I keep seeing boats out sailing and some appear to be out for more than one day so where are they going? Are we allowed to anchor?
That might be interesting when we get back to the UK then. Currently in Azores waiting for strong Northerly's to go pass so we can sail to Ireland then home to UK. We intend to coast hop if weather isn't perfect so we will expect a few issues

Not "questionable" but illegal, if I understand the legislation correctly.
The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) Regulations 2020
"No person may, without reasonable excuse, stay overnight at any place other than the place where they are living."
I didn't vote for these muppets, but that's the law.
I thought that until I heard haslar marina saying you can use their visitor area!presumably can't enter another marina
It is a curfew in all but name.pointless and ill thought out. The country has gone mad. I suspect it will be ignored by many. Enforcement will be difficult, if not impossible if you’re anchored in the back of beyond.Apparently I can sail somewhere, drop a hook and have a cup of tea but not stay on the hook half a mile from anyone else beyond an unspecified time called "overnight".
I must return to my point of boat storage, decamp, drive home and sleep in the bed I slept in last night. Apparently this will save lives.
At which point I'll carry on ignoring these muppets and applying common sense, which has worked very well so far. The world has truly gone mad.
