Can NMEA engine data displayed on B&G Vulcan 7 ?

Not yet my engine is in parts so i will take few sensors and try to configure them and then connet all to the vulcan7. My engine now

More drip feeding of information, not at all helpful.

You need to connect the sensors, configure them from a laptop, connect to the NMEA2000 network.

You can't expect devices to show up in menus if they don't exist on the network !!

So finaly i have managed to connect the albacombi to the b and g vulcan 7. The rpm where not a problem it is just a signal from the alternator but the temp and oil pressure is tricky. You need to know the resistances for every value. Now that i have did this i am wondering is it possible to connect the raymarine st2000+ tiller pillot to the b and g and stear via vulcan7

This is not possible.

I have bought yakbak comunicator that connects tiller pillot to wifi and opencpn software but never managed to connect it

Today I successfully displayed engine data on my B&G Vulcan 7, after connecting the Volvo NMEA adapter to the engine's MDI.
I'm not sure if all the data fields will function, but at least I have tacho, temp, engine hours, alternator volts (this pic is with the engine not running).

Hy can you tell me what pgn or where have you fount the widget how to display engine hours. I managed to get all the displays like rpm engine temp but cannot find engine hrs on my vulcan 7.thanks

I don’t have that boat anymore. Sorry I can’t help you beyond my earlier posts. I recall that it was simply a matter of buying the Volvo part (not cheap), connecting it to the NMEA2 backbone, and the Vulcan displayed the data. Simples
