Axually do not think this was a troll.
Have vague memories of planned epic voyages in various dreadful sub 8m petrol boats with a fine pair of outdrives hanging off the back myself. Although a world cruise may not have been on the agenda, something pretty close would have been thought about.
As for range,nothing that a dozen 5 gallon drums of petrol,stored in the front cuddy,would not solve.
Then experience and reality rears its ugly head. Sigh !
