I don't recognise the logo.
I had something similar on my Impala, I replaced it with a recirculating ball type which was infinitely better.
Barton car might fit?

As it's on a bridge deck, you could fit a low profile track, I beam track is needed to bridge across the cockpit.
This would be more comfortable to sit on, which may not be entirely a good thing in the 'O&A' seat position.

It does look a lot like the Ronstan that is on my boat. I did have to replace the traveller car and later the whole track due to wear. Firstly the wheels on axles let go then track got a worn area bump that made the traveller stick.
My problem is that with a big main sail we use the traveller a lot to ease heeling. ( racing madness) I do find that people will pull the main sheet on so hard that traveller does not move freely. So ease the main sheet a bit.
However the main reason it all wore out was my habit of hanging the boom on the topping lift and holding it in place with the main sheet. This meant that every time a wash wave came through the boom would swing a bit and move the traveller a bit. I finally twigged to the problem and now lay the boom on the cabin top topping lift off. No movement or load on traveller. Looks untidy though.
It may be that your problems are in the sheaves on the traveller car. I long ago threw them away and fitted a saddle on top with CS screws from under neat. I attach strops of flexible 7x19 wire (in my case 2.5 m beam) about .5 metre long with a small block (with becket) on the end of each strop. This is part of a 3 purchase control system.
The advantage of the strops is that you have less rope in the control tackle (less by 1.5 m). You never want to pull the main sheet traveller more than about .2m above centre line but need to be able to allow it to run right out. I use knots in the tackle to stop the traveller car before hits the stop.
So if your problems are in the sheaves get rid of them. If problems are in the wheels of the car just get the minimum car but do check the condition of the track. (my track only lasted 30 years) olewill

Thanks all for the answers, I think that Pete is correct and it is an amiot (the logo seems to be the same and they do seem to have been a beneteau supplier of the right era).

I think the track is in ok condition, the problem is wear of the wheels on the car so it is not running smoothly and tends to twist and jam, I think my first port of call will be barton to see if there 19mm track is sufficiently close in size for the cars to be compatible.
