This is a light bulb assembly from one of the under stair lights on my boat. It seems to be manufactured by an Italian company called Bticino and is marked SL:M24V11. I have tried to get a direct replacement in Italy but so far drawn a blank. Anybody know where I can buy this or something similar in the UK?

Legrand are bticino agents in the UK but they seem to be commercial property systems/installations, maybe they could help, worth a call?

What voltage is it? Sorry just noticed24v, lorry interior lighting?

Hedley and ellis in Peterborough will telephone order/credit card you the back lights from GeWiss Playbus light switches, in several voltages and colours, and LED as well as incandescent. Picture below. About £3 each iirc, and in stock because PrinFair buy zillions of them for new builds. Looks same size as yours but I cannot be sure of dimensions/lumens so I guess you'd have to change all of them rather than just one. I have several of these as spares (24v DC, blue LED) and can send you a sample but not till next week (they're in France)

Deleted User, before placing too much reliance on that part number remember it might be merely the cable identifier, printed by the cable manufacturer

So those are the blessed things that light the master cabin up so muck we put a handbag in front of them so we can sleep.

Thanks again jfm, for the info and thanks also for the offer of a sample but these lights are for internal steps and are white on my boat so I will just buy a few and try them out

Ah, such is the uber nerdish attention to detail on Match2 that one of the light switches in the bedroom turns off the power to the blue LED backlighting in all the light switches. :D

That's not nerdish at all, that's just a very good idea. (Which boat designer thought it was a smart idea to put a permanently backlit switch on the ceiling over the head of the bed? Grrr).
