Can anyone Identify my new boat?

I'm not sure if this is posted in the right place.

My Dad abd I have just got our hands on a new boat but am not sure what it is, we were told its a Shetland Offshore Commercial, but i have also been told it maybe a Gas platform self righting lifeboat??

Starboard forward bow.

It looks like someone has taken a RIB mould and replaced the tubes with an extra GRP section, I am guessing the collar is foam filled?

The big black patch on the bow looks like a background for a Lake District reg number. Is it recovered salvage?

No, from the black patches and the size of that stainless tubing, I'd say it was a commercial fishing boat of some description, but I wouldn't like to guess at the builder.

I see where you are coming from. Good for hauling a few pots by hand. No winch position tho.
