It's very frustrating when SIMRAD (Navico) don't even list the AI50 as a discontinued product, let alone support the product.

The latest version of the software for this unit is v 1.9.4. If you have an earlier version and fancy a software upgrade then give me a shout - I have the upgrade files and the methodology.

Would like the software update as Simrad no longer supports the AI 50. Does it upgrade via the SD card? PM to follow.Thanks,

Hi,

I am still looking to update AI50 software. My unit is still operational and effective but doesn’t play well when connected to new NMEA 2000 network. Have it integrated via NMEA 0183 wiring available via chartplotter.

I have previously had to use SD card with short program copied to it to update AI50 MMSI number.
