Has Learner settled his debt yet?
I only ask because at the select comittee hearing on whether or not we should put in a bid for the 2012 Olympics they concluded that we should, but not at any cost, and as Harry is made of leather and only half a horsepower and Tutts is being fitted with a bowthruster to force a channel through the treacle it seems reasonable to ask if anyone is interested in the coming season being blessed with sunshine and balmy breezes or whether a good force 6 is essential if the raggies are going to be kept hard pressed. Mind you, it could all be a load of nonsense , dont you think?
Must ask jimi if theres any spare beds at his place..........

All getting a bit serious aren't you? I heard that Cuty is undertaking a 'Waverunner Refresher' course following his undoubted success on the F1 circuit last year. He is taking financial advice on what to with his ill-gotten gains from one E Irvine who also announced today that he thought £2m a year wasn't enough to get him out of bed.

We haven't confessed but we're going tp buy a boat together . Just waiting for Sunseeker to annoounce a 135-footer , wind-jet powered , 45 knot. unsinkable self berthing, self-maintaining super yacht for less than a quid. We're considering buying 2 of them ( if they throw in a Captain for the 1 st year)

Suggest you increase your medication if you seriously are questioning if Learner has paid his debt. Have you EVER heard of a Welshman paying his dues.

It's not known as "welshing on a bet" for nothing you know.

Thought it was when they popped over for a pint .. everything in Wales used to be dry on Sunday .. and not so long ago in North Wales either ..

More fallacies about the Welsh.

1) 'Clubs' and eating establishments and Hotels still did booze on Sundays ( hence the number of Conservative clubs in Wales !!
If you couldn't find a beer, you weren't looking or a ....


2) From memory last 'dry' county was Radnorshire ( part of Powys)...until I'm corrected by some methodist...

as recently as 1988 this was drt on sunday. The restaurant apologised, but *could* cook with alchohol, but not serve it as a drink. The waiter recomended the melon with port, and all very jolly indeed.
