I'm afraid I can't be responsible for the fate of every small Scotsman I meet. There would be no end to it. My advice to them all is to learn to read and write and head south like that nice Mr Blair and Mr Brown asap, because - as Dr Johnson recommends - the finest sight a Scotsman ever saw was the road to England. No doubt the nice people Mr Hollamby works with will employ the best of them, and the rest can get straight down to bossing us Englishmen about and awarding themselves huge pensions, as their fellows do.
