Many months ago forum offered good advice about calibrating my Stowe analog log (speedo) display using the little screw in the back.

The advice works - partly. If I adjust it at a particular speed, 4kt say, its accurate at that speed but at no at any other, with the error building up the further away you get from the speed at which it was calibrated. It is clearly a (sorry for scary maths) y = mx+c type device and the little screw adjusts c and I need also to adjust m.

Not a killer, since the digital display attached to the same impeller seems very accurate, actually more accurate than it deserves considering the technology and placement of the impeller. Nice to have it accurate though. Any thoughts?
