Following Mr Kioni's success in 2010 with sunsets, was a theme announced for 2011?

On my way across I took both the sunset, just after Noord Hinder and sunrise over Maas - has a certain industrial appeal! Won't try and post as the connection isn't the quickest.

Just so I know what I sould be photographing.

Ummm.... Somehow I can't quite see the appeal of that.

I can offer a sunrise over Felixstowe.

How about a page a month on each of the rivers/creeks/ports of the East Coast?

I think towns/ports would be a nice change - last year many of the pictures were of empty wide open spaces, best for sunsets of course. A more cosy and cossetted theme could be in order for 2011.

Or storms. really dramatic skies and clouds and lightning and really scary stuff.

I have a really dramatic one of sunrise over Baltic wharf (in the Crouch) on Christmas eve (2009) - all fiery sunrise and towering cranes. It won me an M&S token on the Moody owners photo competition, so they must have been pretty short of entries.

So has someone pee'd on the sprayhood? You don't fool us; obviously the weather deck is dryish whilst the lee rail is awash! Anyway I don't do storm photos - in the unlikely event of being caught out in a blow I should be far too busy surviving.
