Calais and Dunkirk - still worth visiting?

Went last year, the only fly in the ointment was the funfair right next to the marina. Never saw a migrant, never heard anything about them. They were certainly nowhere near the car embarkation areas.

Nothig much to see in dunjirk
Good morning Sailorman, it's an old thread, but here goes anyway: there is a war museum with lots of Op. Dynamo stuff, plus a ship/maritime museum in the Central Bassin du Commerce, including a guided tour of a square-rigger.
There was also an amazing big old diesel tug , with plans to open it for visitors.

I was there just before lockdown and echo G Fox's comments. There is also a really good brasserie overlooking the bassin.
Of course, Covid has probably changed everything for the time being.
