Cala D'or charter

Seems like a lot of people on here have experience of Cala d'or.

We are staying in a villa overlooking the marina (up the steps between the smugglers and yacht club) from 18/6 to 3/7 and would like a few days charter of a motor cruiser to explore the local cala's.

My wife and I have ICC's but would rather have a skipper at least for first day to get our bearings but don't need anything as big as the targa 47 that BCUK have there or the Sea Teach charter boats which all seem similarly larger than we ideally require.

We did have a day on a Seariders rib a couple of years ago but their website seems down at the moment.

Anybody know of a charter company in cala d'or that do skipper and bareboat but with boats closer to 30ft (which we would be comfortable with) or a large rib?

There are quite a few biggish ribs (c6m) and decent 20-25ft day boats for charter in the marina. They all have signs and things next to them and, as you're not there during normal peak school holiday time etc, I would guess you'll be fine just turning up and negotiating a deal on spec. I don't have contact numbers unfortunately but if you'd rather organise something in advance I'm sure BCUK or Mike at Seateach will send you a couple of the phone numbers if you ask nicely (and possibly offer a cold cerveza) !! They're mostly on the Smugglers side of the marina.

Agree you wont struggle to find a boat that size , when i was over a couple of weeks ago i saw a couple of
28ft cabin type boats to rent not the fast type, the ribs i saw had skippers.
