Hi all

I'm looking to replace the cabin table on our Fairline Targa 31 as part of the upgrading/updating I've been doing to the boat, however I want a good quality wooden table with folding end leafs to provide more flexibilty in the cabin/galley. I've attached a pic of the style/type (probably a lighter wood though) I am looking for but have no idea where to source this type of thing from, any advice very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That looks like a Targa 29. Odd woodwork colour. Anhow, those stainless cupholders are non standard, the original boat would have had acrylic. T30 improved on this design and had stainless and acrylic.

I reckon I can get the stainless and acrylic manufactured at a reasonable price if you could supply measurements. If Jez has a cabinet make then job done!

Pictures show standard fit out

To get that exact look get the hinges from Timage http://timage.eu/site/110-hinges and I could get you some nice thick polished 316 stainless or clear acrylic with cutouts for the glasses made to order*.

* Non marine prices too!

Pete,

Ironic that this thread should pop up at this time, but I did think at some point over the last month if small boat tables wouldn't be something that you'd look into supplying?

They are something you can really personalise. All sorts of gadgetry to tastefully incorporate. Thought it would be right up your street.

Absolutely, but I fear the market is pretty minute. But what I really enjoy is sourcing stuff, so a 'table' like this would be an interesting project. I've already thought how I would go about it. Furthermore I can buy most of the components at trade prices and don't charge much for my time so could make it at a competitive price. And who knows, the first order might lead to other orders.

Hi

Thanks for all the replies, if you are interested in making one of these up then I'd be interested in talking some more about it and taking this forwards. Feel free to drop me a pm. Cheers
