Doing a bit of woodwork and bits and bobs onboard that need doing today, so i disconnected the front bilge pumps wiring from the main panel so that i could do a custom built sofa, and went to turn the lights on to find that only half of them work tonight, so i've been tracing the wiring through the boat to find that the previous owner has wired the port side cabin lights to the bilge pump circuit !!!

So now sat in half brightness lighting tonight with not enough light to carry on with the woodwork, time for some dinner and a beer i think !, and carry on in the morning

What sort of person wires lights into a permanently on bilge pump circuit !!!
