Cabin light fault

I have a number of LED cabin lights sharing a circuit, switching on/off with their own individual switch, as is typical.

One started to dim and flicker, soon followed by others. If I switch off the circuit and leave it for a few minutes most work again but now a second light is beginning to 'catch' the dim/flicker bug.

What's going in?

Put the origional tungsten lamps in and verify they are working correctly.
If so, compare the dimensions of the fitting/lugs, chances are, they are slightly smaller and start arcing after a while.
Or you could have cheap led's from china.

As per some comments above, some cheap LEDs don't like anything much above rated voltage. A DC-DC convertor stops any problems like that.
