Ok, Googling C Plath 2381 doesn't give a hit.
Not sure that I fully understand your question, sorry for that
I assumed that you had a bubble sextant, per my post #2.
Is your question about how to take and reduce a sextant sight using a separate Artificial Horizon?

I think my model is a newer one than the sextant on your brochure,mine is dated 1976
