Good turnout to say farewell to Byron this afternoon. Service in the village church and buried in the churchyard beneath the trees. Played in To Rod Stewart's Sailing and out to Mustang Sally. Raised a glass in the Perch and Pike - nice way to go.

Glad to see someone from the forum attended the service.

We have recently lost rather too many RCC club members and fascinating details of their lives have emerged and raised a few eyebrows,especially about those who served in the services.
One club member was torpedoed and rescued twice. !
