Bye bye Cuchilo

I hope she doesn't do it every year !
Question . What do i do now ?
I am on a mooring that I am not wanted on and need to be gone as soon as possible . I have checked that shes not taking on water and also ran the injun ( lucky I left that on eh ) Im happy that the ole two stroke is running sweet as I know her sounds but im not sure I can punch through this water .
The people that found her have said they are ok for me to leave her there until I sort things out or the river calms down but I feel I need to explore all avenues to get out of their way .
The only thing I can think of right now is going with the flow to the next lock under power and punching the water when its needed for steering . Its not the best plan ive ever had if im honest .

Be wary. I took on our neighbour's boat as a favour after it started sinking 2 weeks ago. I did all the pumping out and ropes but when the river came up again it refloated and started destroying the bottom of my garden. I managed to move it to their mooring but I felt my life was in danger and frankly it scared the **** out of me. On Thursday morning I found a slack rope.... Pulled it up and found a clear and some ripper GRP. And then saw a sunken boat. I had done my best, but perhaps encouragement that the boat would be cared for by the owner would have changed my approach. Some help would have been nice!

Not yet . I called quite a few places today but a lot of people are not answering the phone . I guess everyone is a little busy right now !
I think the first thing I will do is take her up to Wilsons for a lift out . I want to check she hasn't been wounded below the waterline and she could do with an antifoul . The woodwork has taken a bit of a scrape aswell so I may renew all that and give her a lick of paint .
I cycled down this evening to take a look at her and she seems happy enough ( bitch ! ) on her new self appointed mooring .
Im still a bit gobsmacked on how she ended up where she did . She had to have turned a sharp left out of the main stream and then pretty much have gone 90* to get into the garden . I doubt I could have got her in there (with this flow) under power .

Just had a call this morning regarding a mooring at Kingston so it looks like you have a new neighbour Ian . Thanks for the number and don't worry , im not as bad as they all say I am ;)
