Mooring up on the river away from everyone, balmy evening, sat in the cockpit in T shirt and shorts, just the late evening afterglow in the sky, deck lights on and the water like a mirror.
Cold beer in hand and sound system playing softly.
This year, the theme seems to have been DooWop more than anything else and the one below has become this season's anthem to us.

About 0100 hrs after all others have settled for the night, out on the cats foredeck, big glass filled with ice and topped with Bundy rum.

Checking for falling stars and green glow of phosphorus in the water as the creatures of the night get mobilised.

Perhaps the sound of pan pipes in the background.
