BVI Charter/Flotilla - recommendations please?

check with Gina Swain at swainsailing. I worked for Gina and her husband Rob for two years in Tortola. They got me work with their clients and clients of the other major charter companies.

My experience has been that the companies are all pretty good. Generally, the more you pay, the newer the boat the better the equipment. Small companies have more personal service than big companies. All facts reflect in earlier posts.

Have fun!

ps: I have no financial interest in these remarks. I like Gina because she listens first. If I didn't like her, I'd have made no comments.

When you go say Hi to Philmore... hes the flot skipper and altho looks and sounds laid back is VV professional and knows exactly how competant all his crews are and will look after you really well. Knows just where to moor etc, dont be afraid to ask him anything.

Suggest you keep a few beers back for him at the end of the week, he's well worth it and appreciates the 'thankyou'

>Sunsail and Moorings both subsidiaries of TUI Travel PLC, so effectively the same company.

TUI also owns Footloose which is in the same base as the Moorings and Sunsail. It's the budget end of the market with old boats.
